Close to Forever are very excited to announce our first gig with the full band in the Blue Mountains on Saturday14th September. Featuring Dale Caldwell on vocals , Ben Fink guitars and vocals , Peter Hollo on cello , Sam Golding on horns , Chris Abrahams on piano and Danny Heifetz on drums, we will of course be playing our original works, plus cherry picked material from master song crafters, including new pieces. Over the past year or so we have been expanding into a more improvisational approach on stage with our songs and we are looking forward to sharing this with a new audience.
Our CD Hearts and Desire and other merch will be available for purchase. Springtime in the mountains is always spectacular and we can't wait to play at the Baroque Room!
For this performance we will once again have special guest artist Brendan Cook from Picturedrift curating live visuals, interacting with the music as it happens. Brendan, who is one of Australia’s best Motion Designers and Animation Directors, created Close to Forever’s first ever video for their single Hearts and Desire using Dale Caldwell’s beautiful artworks.
